Giulio Verna graduated at the University of Bari in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine in 2015, carrying out the internship for writing his thesis in the gastrointestinal immunology laboratory of the Humanitas Clinical Institute of Rozzano. In the years 2018 and 2019 he was a fellow at the IRCCS De Bellis in Castellana Grotte in the experimental immunopathology laboratory led by Dr. Chieppa, where he was involved in the research of the effects of polyphenols on dendritic cells and mouse models of chronic inflammation. From November 2019 he began his studies for the achievement of the PhD in pharmacology at the University of Salerno, in the laboratories of Prof. Campiglia. Since September 2019, he has also been a researcher at the European Biomedical Research Institute of Salerno (EBRIS) where he is responsible for screening new molecules on cells and organoids with the aim of creating precision therapies for cancer patients.
